Upsilon Nu Help Feed Over 300 Families to Meet Food Needs in Richmond, VA
Every Wednesday during May, the Brothers of Upsilon Nu Chapter, Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., partnered with Feed More Food Pantry at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Ave, Richmond, VA, to help meet the food insecurity needs for families in Richmond, VA.
From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Wednesday, the Brothers of Upsilon Nu assisted with food distribution, lifting, and loading food boxes into vehicles, and unloading trucks. Over three hundred (300) needy families were provided food assistance for May, approximately eighty families weekly at this location. The Brothers of Upsilon Nu also partner with Faith Community Baptist Church, Richmond, VA, (as needed) with their mobile food pantry to help meet the food needs of the Richmond community.
