Achievement Week and Recognitions – The Achievement Week and Recognitions Committee shall assist the local Chapters in the District in the planning and implementation of each National Achievement Week Program. The Committee shall also assist and coordinate the selection of Chapters, Brothers and others who should be recognized for noteworthy achievements and may also recommend for recognition such District projects or programs as the Committee may deem necessary.

The Chapter Essay Contest winners must be submitted to the District NLT midnight , Friday, December 18, 2020.

All Individual awards are due before midnight Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

All Chapters of the year awards are due before midnight, Sunday, January 31, 2021

2020-2021 Achievement Week

Achievement Week Dates: November 15-21, 2020

High School Essay topic:

Learning about politics and life as a citizen is part of the transition to adulthood. During this stage, young people are introduced to the political processes and issues, as well as a range of political activities including voting and participation in social movements. “Against the backdrop of ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, why is it even more important for young people to become and remain politically engaged?”

Contest ends and essays must be submitted to Chapters on or before midnight October 16, 2020
