Hopewell, Virginia, Saturday, February 8,2020. Upsilon Nu Chapter attended the Winter Council meeting. The council meetings provide an opportunity, to hear about what is happening within the 3rd District and across the Fraternity. The chapters are doing amazing work within their communities and the chance to hear what they are doing is uplifting. Brothers get an opportunity to fellowship, with those they have not met before and get reacquainted with those we don’t get to see often.
Our chapter leadership always attends and brings back the information to the chapter on topics such as recent changes in by-laws, protocol changes, upcoming District initiatives and International directives. Brother Franklin Dunn gave a readout of the work being done in Central Area I. Brother Dunn represents chapters Zeta, Phi Delta, Lambda Zeta, Phi Phi, Upsilon Nu, Xi Iota, Beta Delta Delta.
The 3rd District Committee Chairman provided status on what their various committees have done to date and their plans for the rest of the fiscal year. Their committees are open to Brothers across the District to join.
