Richmond, Virginia, Saturday, August 1, 2020, Cedar Street Baptist Church. Brothers of Upsilon Nu, Phi Phi, Phi Delta, Deltas and Alpha Kappa Alpha, participated in the Cedar Street Baptist Church Food Give Away. The Brothers were out in force to unload trucks and arrange food boxes for the many residents that came out to receive much need food support. The weather was cooperative and the rains held off as the volunteers performed their many tasks.
Every Saturday in August from 10 a.m. to noon, Cedar Street Baptist Church in Richmond is holding a food giveaway. The church says was able to distribute nearly 1,300 boxes of fresh produce, dairy, and meat to those in need. Even during this pandemic, the Church community as continued to support the Richmond community.
