Bro. MAJ Ahmad Andrews, serves as the Director for the Fred Lynn Middle School Step team. The Step team is a service offering from the Omega U Program explicitly at Fred Lynn Middle School. Omega U partnerships includes the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho, Iota Epsilon Chapter, of Woodbridge Virginia. Ms. Rae Belle serves as the Co-Director for the Step team and is a member Sigma Gamma Rho. This year marked the inaugural year of the Fred Lynn Step at the request of School Administration, parents, and students. The STEP has over 45 male and female students from Fred Lynn.

Students meet 2 to 3 times a week on their performance routine and conditioning at Fred Lynn Middle School. The Step team also participates in pre-college initiatives with the Omega U mentoring program and has executed over 36 hours of mentorship through stepping. Omega U is the largest mentoring program in Prince William County and The Fred Lynn Middle School is the largest Middle School Step Team and Female Mentoring Program in Prince William County Public Schools (PWCPS). Omega U focuses on mentoring to all students from various background to expose, enrich, educate, and excite students while partnering with PWCPS.
