Greetings Brothers of the Third District,
Happy Labor Day! – It’s known as the unofficial end of Summer. A time to fellowship with our family and friends on the last holiday of the Summer and pay tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. Labor Day was birthed from the Labor Movement. “No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
The brotherhood of the Third District of the Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc., remains resilient and continues to make notable advancements in their career and endeavors. During this time, Brothers are excited about getting their children off to school, as our educators are prepared to engage and guide our future young leaders now that we are at the start of the school year.
Remember, as Omega men, we continue to help to build this country as we lead and provide mentorship to our youth, ensuring they are prepared to enter the workforce. This Labor Day, we continue to honor all Omega men in various career fields as you continue to be the leaders, providers, and guardians God called you to be. Keep lifting as you climb and reach for the stars. Additionally, take this day to reflect and relax, understanding that it has been well earned due to our ancestor’s steadfastness and your hard work over the years.
Brothers, stand upright with your head high and eyes to the front. Additionally, continue to do the work, persevering with purpose and diligence to be the bridgebuilders for the youth that will come after you.
I want you to know that you continue to be in my family’s thoughts and prayers. We are thankful and appreciate all that you do. Thank you, Third District, for your work, dedication, and commitment to the communities and people you serve. “We work hard for Omega in the Third District!”
Brother Conrado B. Morgan
