Feed the Needy Program: Kappa Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated

Newport News, VA – On October 15, 2022, the brothers of Kappa Iota Iota (KII) Chapter, Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. continued to live up to their name, “Service Chapter.” They conducted their monthly Feed the Needy Program and partnered with St. Augustine Episcopal church located in downtown Newport News, VA. St. Augustine’s church family prides themselves on reaching up to God in prayer and worship, reaching over in peace to be reconciled with each other, and reaching out in love to bring help and hope to those in need. Numerous families were positively impacted on this day. The brothers of KII a
ided the efforts in doing just that as they ushered the less fortunate to their seats as they entered the fellowship hall, prepared plates of food and drinks, and served each community member their meals. The brothers were delighted to share their college and military service experiences with the high school students who arrived with their parents. Also, they reminded the students about the Young Men of Distinction Program, which mentors young males at the middle and high levels.
