Greetings Brothers of the Third District,
Mother’s Day! A time set aside for us to honor, recognize, celebrate, and show our appreciation to mothers and motherhood, including sisters, wives, and grandmothers. This celebration is an expression of our love for their labor of love, unselfishness, and sacrifices demonstrated to enhance her faith, family, friends, and others. For the mothers who are no longer with us, their memory still lives forever in our hearts. Please take the time to reflect on the joyous,
enthusiastic, timeless, and joyful memories of feeling our mother’s love, smile, and wisdom that will always be with you.
Brothers, continue to cherish and protect the purity of motherhood and mothers in your life, as this is our duty. The Supreme Basileus has a lot to say when it comes to mothers. According to Proverbs 31:26: “She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”
Mothers risk their lives to give birth to life in the world. This is our first experience of a mother’s unconditional love. Mothers cannot be thanked enough for sharing and providing their strength, wisdom, guidance, and walking with us; instead of just showing us the way. Mothers have encouraged us to live our creed, to see good put into action is what everyone needs. Additionally, gratitude cannot be expressed for you helping us to keep climbing and not allowing us to “set
down on the stair ’Cause we finds it’s kinder hard.”
Brothers, remember the little acts of kindness count, will be remembered forever, and are priceless. As all real men do, take the time to honor the first person to love you unconditionally. On behalf of the Brothers of the Third District, we send Mother’s Day blessings to the Mothers in your lives!
