Today, we celebrate the triumph of freedom and the enduring spirit of African Americans. Juneteenth marks the moment—160 years ago in Galveston, Texas—when emancipation finally reached our ancestors, a defining milestone in the pursuit of justice and equality.
As we reflect on the struggles of those who came before us, what they overcame, and the progress they forged, let us recommit to honoring their legacy through education, unity, and purposeful action that will continue to shape the future.
As Omega men, may we continue to lead with integrity, uplift our communities, and build bridges of opportunity for our future youth and generations to come.
