Greetings Brothers of the Mighty Third District,
Memorial Day is a time when many of us gather with friends and family to enjoy the start of summer. More importantly, this is a time to reflect on the true meaning of this special holiday: remembering the brave men and women of the Armed Forces who have given their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifices allow us to enjoy the rights, liberties and freedoms that are the bedrock of America.
On this day, let us pause to remember those who gave the last full measure of devotion for our Nation! Let us remember the special nobility and grace of those who donned the uniforms of our country and sacrificed their lives during times of conflict. Let us remember as we renew our commitment to honor those we have lost, every day, dedicated men and women put their lives on the line to protect all of us!
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to the many Omega Men who are current and former servicemen. We appreciate your courage and the sacrifices you have made through your commitment to protecting our country and securing our freedom!
