THE 89TH ANNUAL THIRD DISTRICT MEETING
PRESENTED BY THE THIRD DISTRICT OF THE OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY, INC

ALEXANDRIA, VA – THE 89TH ANNUAL THIRD DISTRICT MEETING HOSTED BY THE PSI NU CHAPTER WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE WESTIN HOTEL FROM MARCH 31 TO APRIL 3, 2022.

The Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., led by Conrado B. Morgan – District Representative, in partnership with the event host – Psi Nu Chapter of Alexandria, Virginia, are bringing to the DMV a must-attend event, the 89th Annual Third District Meeting. Members from 43 Omega chapters representing approximately 2,000 dedicated men located throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia will gather on one accord to conduct the business of the Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. The purpose of the District meeting is to ensure the vision of the Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is worked on to the fullest and all members are moving forward and aligned with the vision. The brothers of the Third District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will gather in Alexandria, VA, to take an introspective look at their accomplishments and brainstorm solutions that will solve ongoing issues challenging the communities in which they live. Some of the marquee events include the Charity Golf Classic at Old Hickory Golf Club and the Undergraduate Luncheon highlighting the academic achievement of distinguished college students, the District Talent Hunt competition showcasing the music and arts of local high school students leading to thousands of dollars in scholarships, the electrifying Step Competition featuring our step teams, the Founders Banquet – where the District celebrate and award our District level chapter and individual awardees for their outstanding work in the community, the Saturday Night Dance Party, and the Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast all to be held at the host Westin Alexandria Hotel.

The brothers of the Third District have established and supported countless community improvement programs and initiatives. They have supported St Jude, the American Red Cross, Wounded Warrior Project, the Miracle League of Alexandria, Fire Fighters & Friends to the Rescue, the United Negro College Fund, as well as local school systems. The District has collectively donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in college scholarships, mentored thousands of elementary, high school, and college students, and provided aid where needed. In addition, the ten undergraduate chapters have endowment accounts at their respective university. Six HBCUs in the Third District will receive $5,000.00 each in their endowment accounts from the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. on April 1, 2022.
