Pi Lambda Lambda (PLL) chapter, Third District, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Prince William County Virginia | Pi Lambda Lambda | Third District – The Omega U Program hosted their second Bridge Builder Town Hall featuring select panelists to discuss voting and education in Prince William County (PWC) Virginia on August 26, 2020. The panelists included Bro. Conrado Morgan, Colonel (Ret), Third District Representative of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Founder and CEO of Conrado’s International, INC. | Mrs. Andrea Olivia Bailey, Potomac District Supervisor of PWC | Bro. Jeffrey Allen, Basileus of Pi Lambda Lambda | Mrs. Rae Belle, Founder & CEO of Beyond the Belle Academy.

The Bridge Builder event featured Papa Mintah-Adu as student moderator. The 8-question discussion centered around educating and promoting earlier voting among teenagers and young adults. Panelists shared with these students the importance of building a relationship with the political process as early as possible to make voting a lifelong habit. Panelists also stressed to students to remain vigilant in building strong study habits and establishing routine schedules during the current pandemic and virtual learning environment.

Omega U is operated under the management of PLL and has over 150 students annually from 3rd grade to graduating seniors. Omega U gives students a strong network of resources with college educated males in various fields from medical, engineering, teaching, military, and entrepreneurialism.

Pi Lambda Lambda is a graduate chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., an international nonprofit social and civic service organization that has over more than 700 chapters with 100,000 members in 14 countries worldwide. Omega is the only Greek letter organization whose motto and guiding principles include the word Friendship.

Since the Chapter’s founding in Dumfries, VA, in January 2004, PLL has supported public and community events across the region, benefiting scholarship, health promotion, youth mentorship, citizenship and social action. PLL has previously been named the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. International Chapter of the Year for three separate years since the Chapter’s founding. PLL is honored with this most prestigious honor bestowed by the fraternity.
