On December 17, 2021, The Delta Omega Social Action Committee, Third District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., donated toys to Patrick Copeland Elementary School in Hopewell, VA and Walnut Hill Elementary School in Petersburg, VA, for the Annual Toys-4-Tots initiative. The committee picked up over 800 toys from the Toys-4-Tots operation on the DLA Base in Richmond, VA. More than 400 toys and 5 bikes were given to Patrick Copland Elementary School children. Walnut Hill Elementary School received over 400 toys and 4 bicycles. The Toys 4 Tots committee provided 2 bikes for a family of seven in need during the chapter’s Christmas Basket distribution.

Additionally, the Delta Omega Chapter Brothers joined with Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Brotherhood Ministry in efforts to support the Annual Toys-4-Tots initiative and delivered toys to one hundred and sixty (160) families at Cool Spring Elementary School in Petersburg, VA. The items were well received by all the school Principals and Vice-Principals. They also provided sentiments of appreciation for the Chapters’ continuous support to the school.
