The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of their founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. The funds donated will support the kids and families at St. Jude. The kids nor the families have to pay for travel, medical care, lodging or food as long as the kids are in treatment at St. Jude. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. More than 40% of the kids treated at St. Jude are African Americans.

All donations are tax deductible and there will be a raffle for gifts at the Dr. Moses C. Norman, Sr. Leadership Conference for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. on July 9, 2019 in Atlantic City New Jersey for those who donated on behalf of Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter.

This project supports Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s Social Action Program and will fall under our internationally mandated program of Health Initiatives in the future. We thank all of our patrons and donors for their support in this project and the continuing support as we do our part to give back to our community.
