The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is dedicated to promoting programs and activities that uplift our military-affiliated brothers, as well as our communities throughout the Third District. The MAC has two main areas of focus, one inward and one outward. The inward focus is geared towards the brothers with programming planned for education on VA benefits, mental health, and reclamation. The outward focus is based around volunteer work for military-affiliated organizations, along with liaison work with local colleges and universities’ military affiliated organizations. This might also include tasks such as identifying underrepresented young men and women candidates for the various US service academies.

MISSION – The MAC’s mission is to provide awareness, programming, and guidance to 3rd District chapter’s Military Affairs Committees (MACs), increase the number of chapters with active committees, and conduct area wide MAC events throughout the district.

VISION – The committee’s vision is to see the program expand to include joint projects with other Divine 9 and civic organizations for topics such as spousal support of veterans, while becoming the leading district in facilitating Military Affairs for Omega Psi Phi.
