RICHMOND, Virginia, Sunday, March 11, 2018, the Zeta, Phi Delta, Phi Phi and Upsilon Nu Chapters of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. conducted their joint Annual Talent Hunt Program at the 31st Street Baptist Church. Contestants from across the Greater Richmond area participated in this event, while family members, School teachers/advisors and neighbors cheered their efforts.

First place was awarded to Ms. Ariel Adams in the amount of $300.00, second place was awarded to Ms. Ava Lipford in the amount of $200.00 and third place was awarded to Ms. Kamryn Owen in the amount of $125.00.

Those in attendance were treated to an entertaining and enjoyable afternoon of the Musical Arts.” These contestants are to be commended for showcasing their talents with the community. They spent long hours working to improve on their artistic skills, in addition to their high school workloads”, stated Bro. Goldsborough.  That can be attested to by the judges (David Corey, Danah Dargon and Alvin Campbell). Our community gains whenever we see our youth striving for their dreams and we will continue to support them.

In addition to the Talent Hunt contestants, there were also two exhibition performers both playing piano:

  • Phoebe Johnson
  • Kian Stevens
