Upsilon Nu Co-hosts Talent Hunt

RICHMOND, Virginia, Sunday, March 12, 2017, the Zeta, Phi Delta, Phi Phi and Upsilon Nu Chapters of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. conducted their joint Annual Talent Hunt Program at the 31st Street Baptist Church. Contestants from across the Greater Richmond area participated in this event, while family members, School teachers/advisors and neighbors cheered their efforts.

First place was awarded to Mr. Noah Campbell from Appomattox Governors School in the amount of $300.00, second place was awarded to Ms. Ava Lipford from Appomattox Governors School in the amount of $200.00 and third place was awarded to Mr. Amani Justin Holloway from Henrico High School in the amount of $125.00. Ken Williams.

Those in attendance were treated to an entertaining and enjoyable afternoon of the Musical Arts.” These contestants are to be commended for showcasing their talents with the community. They spent long hours working to improve on their artistic skills, in addition to their high school workloads”, stated Bro. Goldsborough.  That can be attested to by the judges (David Corey, Danah Dargon and Will Griffin). Our community gains whenever we see our youth striving for their dreams and we will continue to support them.
