Fredericksburg, Virginia – On April 23, 2018 Tau Rho Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Passport To Manhood (funded by the Rappahannock Regional Uplift and Scholarship Foundation) performed a joint mentoring effort with the Fredericksburg, Virginia Links Incorporated Linking Youth To Excellence (LYTE) for a coordinated history lesson with the re-enactment to Mark the Peaceful March fifty years after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior in Memphis, Tennessee on April 4, 1968.
This event was a collaborative effort by local churches and residents and provided a mentoring opportunity to our younger generation to continue our ancestor’s legacies.
