Fairfax, VA -- The Psi Alpha Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., with the support of the Gum Springs Community Center, is actively engaged in the “Man UP” Mentoring program.
The purpose of the program is to pursue better educational attainment, professional development, and behavior management for the youth of Fairfax County, as they grow into manhood.
On Wednesday April 25th, The Man Up Mentoring Program lead by Brothers Eric Twiggs, W.J. Williams, Brad Caldwell, Antonio Coleman, and Hector Sheppard, taught the mentees how to tie a tie. When the session began, seven of the eight mentees had never tied a tie before. By the end, each young man was able to tie his own tie without any assistance from the Brothers!
