Hampton, VA – On October 1, 2018, Brother Ash Anderson, ‘78 Upsilon Delta, the self-proclaimed “Grandvendor” of our beloved fraternity, underwent his first chemotherapy treatment to fight Prostate Cancer. Enriched with strength from the Supreme Basileus of the universe, he endured the six month journey like a True Omega Man. After completing 45 days of rigorous treatments, Brother Ash stood victorious and cancer free. Known for his joking performances and the uncommon ways in which he shows love, on December 13, 2018, he delivered his greatest performance as only he could do. Wearing championship boxing attire, Brother Ash rang the cancer free bell at Riverside Hospital before a group of fraternity brothers and other well-wishers, symbolically delivering the knockout punch to cancer.
